Last winter I decided to try my hand at Romanian and I noticed that there are many words that are the same as in Bulgarian and I also found a bunch of words that are similar.
Now, I have not studied the roots and origins of those words, for it is not the purpose of my post. I am merely stating those words here so the Bulgarians that read this could acknowledge that they know a bit of Romanian and vice versa, for those who know both languages - feel free to add to the list! The list is long and I've not added some words that I found because they exist in many other languages (for ex. banana, bison, pelican, mango, kiwi etc.)
